During 2021 the parish invited parishioners to make suggestions to mark the 150th anniversary of our church. As part of the celebrations we are now delighted to announce a new option for interment in our cemetery. In recognition of the growing popularity of cremation, the Parish Finance Committee has agreed to the provision of a columbarium wall for the parishioners of Kingscourt. The design has been prepared by Niall Smith Architects, McKenna Precision Eng Ltd and Tully memorials who will also undertake its construction. The Columbarium will contain the cremated remains of loved ones. A niche may be booked and purchased in advance and can store one or two urns, depending on the size chosen.
