Good Friday Walk of Witness

Our faith communities in Kingscourt were able to celebrate a Shared Faith Journey on Good Friday. This was the first such event in Holy Week since the pandemic. We began our shared journey at the Church of the Immaculate Conception with concluding prayers at Saint Ernan’s Church of Ireland. Our Walk of Witness allowed us to reflect on the Saint Matthew’s Passion as we journeyed along the roads of the town. Thanks to all who were involved and the many who wore red in solidarity with suffering Christians throughout the world.
