In recent weeks all the children of the parish have visited Kingscourt church to view the new stained glass windows dedicated to Our Lady and Ulster saints in the north and south transepts. The stained glass artist, Patrick Muldowney has included a dog alongside the figure of St.
Killian. The children were invited to name the animal which belongs to Patrick. Hundreds of entries were received at The Parish Office from our schools. There were many interesting nominations but only one correct entry which came from The Gorman Family. They were awarded with their prizes by Miriam and Church Street Cafe who kindly sponsored the prize along with enjoying her award winning hot chocolate in recent days. Thanks to everyone!
