Kingscourt Parish 2020 Time Capsule

Thanks to Brendan O’Reilly and the encouragement of the Parish Pastoral Planning Team, the Kingscourt Parish 2020 time capsule was planted in the church grounds following Sunday Mass. Four families from the parish, The Boylan family of Corlea, The Byrne family of Carrickleck, The McMahon family of Muff and the Monaghan family of Kingscourt represented all our families as we gathered to mark a year that no one will forget! Hundreds of families had left various momentos to be included in the capsule. An Irish Oak Tree was also planted as a sign of hope for a new future. The families have promised to gather again on 1st January 2045 for it’s reopening!
