Many were disappointed that we could not celebrate First Holy Communion during the month of May owing to restrictions of the time. It is a great faith occasion in the life of the parish, the children and their families.
We congratulate the children of Carrickleck who celebrated their First Holy Communion last weekend. It was an historic occasion, being the first time the local school community gathered for such a special faith event.
The following are the new dates, as already advised to the school communities and families, for the other First Holy Communion ceremonies in our parish :
Laragh Muff on Saturday 22nd August.
Saint Joseph’s Kingscourt, with the respective classes on Saturday 29th August.
Corlea on Sunday 30th August.
Our Parish Repository is open after all weekend Masses and by arrangement. It stocks a large range of gifts, suitable for First Holy Communion and all at COST PRICE.
