The World Meeting of Families

Our parish was honoured and delighted to welcome Brenda Drumm, a native of County Cavan, as a guest speaker at all Masses this past weekend.  Brenda is from the World Meeting of Families and is busy planning and preparing for this great occasion and the possible visit of Pope Francis. In her address she spoke about the importance of family and the strength of family. She spoke movingly about her ongoing living with cancer and the support of family and extended family. She extended an invitation for parishioners to get involved with this unique world occasion in Ireland this August.
