Our parish community this past weekend joined with the 40 families of the parish who have experienced the loss of a loved one this past twelve months.
We prayed for all who died, young and old, those with length of days and those with days yet to live, those who died suddenly or unexpectedly, those who have died tragically or by suicide, babies who died and whose parents mourn the loss of their precious child. We placed all our dead in the loving embrace of God, praying the light of heaven on them and asking God’s comfort and consolation in the journey of bereavement and loss.
Our Bethany Bereavement Support Team members took part in the Mass. They begin the Five Week Healing Programme in The Parish Centre on this Monday for all who have been bereaved at any time.
