Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel

The faith community of Muff gathered this past weekend to celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel to whom the local Church is dedicated. The Church  houses a priceless Evie Hone window of Our Lady of Mount Carmel commissioned by the late Very Rev. Michael Marry, former Parish Priest. The community gathered at The Mass Rock for prayers and made the traditional pilgrimage walk to the Church for Mass which was followed by a reception organised by Lough an Laegh ICA. Thanks to all who were involved and those who prepared for the annual celebration.
