Bishop Willie Walsh, Emeritus Bishop of Killaloe was the guest preacher and celebrant at our weekend Novena Masses. In his homily, he emphasised the central themes of Pope Francis pontificate on the mercy, love and compassion of Christ and encouraged us to have Christ at the centre of our lives. He reminded the congregation that the cross was always part of the Christian life.
