Our Parish Mission concluded this last weekend. It was led by the Redemptorist Mission team of Ms. Sarah Smith, Fr. Ciaran O’Callaghan and Fr. Denis Luddy. The week has been a journey as a parish community on our shared faith story. A different theme ran on each day. We reflected on our baptism, our families, we remembered our dead, we experienced God’s mercy and forgiveness, we prayed together in a unique ecumenical service and candle light procession through the town of Kingscourt, a Mass of Healing culminating in the ceremonies of Palm Sunday. A word of very sincere thanks to all who prepared our Mission. We pray it has been a time of great blessing for our parish.
