Cardinal Sean Brady was the guest celebrant and preacher on the opening night of the annual Lenten Novena in honour of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
Focusing on the theme of Lent, he invited us to have pray, fast and give alms and to be a people who witness to the Lord in our community where He resides. Presentations were made by Ann Burns and John Gilmore to mark the visit of the Cardinal who has close ties with many in the parish.
