Our parish was delighted to host the annual Womens World Day of Prayer which was led by Rev. Ruth O’Kelly. The theme this year was I Will Give You Rest and prepared by the women of Nigeria The service celebrated the women of Nigeria and their diverse culture. To meet their basic survival needs, the women of Nigeria carry burdens and traumas that are physical, emotional and spiritual. In Jesus Christ and in the embrace of his love they find rest and strength to continue their journey.
