1. All are welcome to join with the students of Colaiste Dún an Rí on Tuesday 16th December at 2.30p.m. for a Concert of Carols in Kingscourt church.
2. Our Parish Pastoral Area of Kingscourt, Meath Hill / Drumconrath, Lobinstown, Kilbeg, Castletown-Kipatrick and Nobber is hosting the annual Advent Penitential Service at The Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, Drumconrath on this Wednesday 17th December at 7.30p.m. and all are welcome.
3. The weekend of December 20th / 21st is Bambinelli Sunday around the world. Pope Leo, in his first Christmas as Pope, invites all the children, their parents and families to bring the figure of the baby Jesus from their crib, or indeed the entire crib to Mass for a special blessing welcoming the child Jesus of Bethlehem into our hearts and homes.
4. Our Christmas Eve Mass on December 24th for young families is a special occasion. We thank our young people who are currently preparing to take part in The Christmas pageant on that evening. Our Christmas Candlelight Mass is in Kingscourt at 6p.m. and Mass in Muff for Christmas will be at 7.30p.m.
5. Our First Mass of Christmas Day is at 9a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, Corlea., with further Christmas Day Masses at 10.30a.m. and 12noon in Kingscourt.
6. On Sunday 28th December, we invite families who have celebrated the baptism of their child in the past year to gather at 12 noon Mass on the Feast of the Family to pray for these children and their families.
7. Our First Mass of 2026 is on New Years Day at 10.00a.m. as we pray for peace in our world and for our own intentions as we enter this new year
