Our Church of the Immaculate Conception

In this Heritage Week, we once again extend a welcome to all who are visiting Cavan and the surrounding areas in these days to visit our beautiful church in Kingscourt, designed by William Hague. Our church is neo gothic in style and built entirely from local Carrickleck stone. The church was opened in August 1872 by Fr. Peter O’Reilly, whose mortal remains are interred in the transept of the church. Our church is a place of prayer and welcome and a house for all God’s people, Teach Pobal De.
