Cemetery Sunday 2025

It was such a delight in this Jubilee Year of Hope for the parish of Kingscourt to welcome the many families who gathered in such great numbers, both in prayer and remembrance of their departed loved ones on this Cemetery Sunday. A special Thank You to all who maintain their individual cemetery plots to such high standards throughout the year and to Derek for his excellent works of maintenance in our cemetery. Thanks to the very large team of volunteers who do so much work in preparation for and on the day itself. Thanks to PJ and the Sacristy team, to June and the Ministers of Holy Communion, to our readers and youth readers, to Gavin and the choir, to Patrick and all the stewards, to Tommy, Joseph and Jason for their sound and engineering work, to Colm Kieran of Kieran Funeral Care for the canopy, to Kingscourt Gardai for their traffic management, to O’Gorman’s SuperValu, McCabes Garages, McKenna Engineering and Shekletons for additional parking facilities. Thanks to one and all. The Annual Cemetery Mass 2026 is on Sunday 2nd August at 12noon. May all our deceased loved ones live in the tender embrace of God eternally.
