Our parish faith community gathered to celebrate Catholic Grandparents Sunday in our parish. We marked the very important contribution which Grandparents and older people make in the lives of our families and wider community. We thanked them for their example and resilience, their courage and commitment, their love and thoughtfulness and for being a strong pillar of faith for their families. Each person was gifted with a specially prepared Prayer Card, designed by the Parish Pastoral team, and a copy of the Pass it On book, a compilation of prayers, poems and reflections from grandparents.
