Kathleen Iriwin of Church Street Cafe and the pupils of Muff school created a scarf of 200 meters, the longest scarf in Cavan if not in Ireland . The scarf was taken apart and made into very colourful lap blankets for The Kingscourt Cancer Fund, providing support to their passengers en route to oncology appointments. Kathleen Irwin has been knitting since she was just 4 years old. What a great lady! What a great achievement! Well done to all!
