What an absolute joy it was to welcome Fr. Octavius back to Corlea National School today as he spends time working in our Parish this month.
Fr. Octavius told the children some lovely stories from school life in his native Liberia and the children asked him some very interesting questions. He also told the children to be good and to do good for Mammy and Daddy and everyone they meet on this journey of life. As you can see, he came prepared for a match, wearing his Cavan attire and so the children in both the Junior and Senior Room got to compete in a match with Fr. Octavius. He sure has the most amazing football skills! We learned so much from him and enjoyed every moment of his visit to us.
Miss Marron did mention that she may have to gift him with a Monaghan Jersey for his next visit!
Thank you Fr. Octavius from all of us at Corlea National School.
