World Day of Grandparents

Our Parish marked the World Day of Prayer for Grandparents and Older Adults this past weekend. A sincere word of thanks to the many generations who attended. Thanks to Philip and Mairead Tinnelly who with their daughter Pippa and respective parents Philip and Clare Tinnelly, Keelan and Margaret Farrelly who planted an oak tree in the grounds of the church to mark this day and to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the church. Pope Francis reminded all grandparents to be artisans of the revolution of tenderness and poets of prayer who transform the world.
