Our parish is beginning a little initiative which we gratefully acknowledge from Joe Duffy & Liveline ON RTE Radio 1 ! We are calling on individuals and our business community to consider sponsoring 5 small gifts or vouchers – €10 per voucher totalling €50 in total – which we will acknowledge to the sponsor. We will leave these gifts or vouchers in Kingscourt Church for collection after our Sunday Mass. We ask people to take one gift, not for themselves, but for a neighbour or friend! You can drop it into the recipients letter box – cognisant of the current guidelines – who in turn might send us a picture for our social media. It is hoped that this little parish initiative will remind us that we are a people, parish and church community who are called to be a people of positivity, confidence and optimism. We are truly missing our public worship which does indeed contribute greatly to our health and well being.
