The World Day of Prayer is an ecumenical prayer movement who join in prayer and acts of solidarity to improve the world. Our Cairde Unit here is St. Joseph’s N.S. were very fortunate to be nominated by the Kingscourt Community of World Day of prayer this year to receive a very kind financial donation of €500. Daphne Rowntree, Jean, Kenny Audrey Frazer and Ena Mc Ginley presented the cheque to principal Mairéad Corbally. They had a tour of the new Cairde facility. The staff . parents and pupils of Cairde are very grateful for their kind donation. It will be used for music therapy and sensory therapy which is of huge benefit for our Cairde pupils.
