Our parish community this past weekend joined with the 49 families of our parish who have experienced loss and bereavement during the year. We pray the light of Heaven on our dead and God’s comfort on all who are grieving.
Thanks to all who support those who grieve in the community. Thanks to our dedicated Bethany Bereavement Team who offer counselling and support and begin a 5 week healing programme in the Parish Centre on Monday night at 8p.m. Thanks to our local Funeral Directors for their professionalism and sensitivity. Thanks to Ann and her team who prepared the Candles of Remembrance, the Hearts of Memory and the November Prayer Space. Thanks to Derek and choir members who provide suitable music at every funeral in our parish , which is a source of great solace to families.
