What a great parish and community night! One winner and All winners with our great dancers. TREACYS Hotel was packed to capacity for an Easter Sunday to remember. Congrats to Sarah Carbery and Gabriel Patterson who were crowned champions.

Fr Gerry delivered the following Thank You speech on the night:

To everyone who has sponsored a dancer, taken an advert in our booklet or donated to this event in any way, you have made a real difference and we are eternally gratefully.
To the management and staff of Treacys Hotel for their support and for their excellent service thank you very much.
To Tina McCaul, hairdresser and David McNally for hair and professional makeup of the dancers.
To, Gavin and Orla our choreographers who have done a fantastic work with our dancers over the past 10 weeks. On behalf of the committee I would like to make a presentation to Orla for her hard work.
Thanks to Joe Finnegan on video, Liam Connolly on sound and light, Betty B on photography for their professionalism and for helping to bring this show together.
To all who have worked on the committee, subcommittee, stewards, parking attendants and anyone who has worked to make this night a success, thank you so much.
For the members of the sub committee who worked tireless securing advertising and producing our fabulous souvenir booklet as well as all the print requirements of the tickets, voting cards and posters. This was an intense and detailed project and we are most grateful for all of your efforts. As a token of our appreciation of their efforts I would like to make a presentation to Sharon Shiels Chairperson of the sub committee and her husband Kevin, treasurer of the Finance Committee
There are two people who have been at all the training sessions, supporting the dancers and organising everything quietly in the back ground. This night would not have happened without you Francis Carolan, Chairman of the Finance Committee and to Frances Tinnelly would you please come to the stage for a presentation of gratitude and appreciation.
A sincere word of thanks to the families and friends of the dancers who have supported them over the past weeks, your patience and support has been invaluable.
A big thank you to our master of ceremonies Dudley Farrell who when asked immediately volunteered his services, knitting together tonight’s and the launch night sequence of events so seamlessly.
To our judges tonight Gerard Murphy, RTE, Jennifer Brady, Eddie Caffery, LMFM and Liz O Hanlon thank you all so much for your time and input tonight.
To everyone who attended tonight’s show or who supported our night through buying a ticket thank you so much and I hope your enjoyed the night
Finally to our dancers what can I say words are not enough to express our heartfelt gratitude for all your time, dedication, hard work and commitment over the past 10 weeks. You have put on a tremendous show tonight and each and every one of you are winners. The funds you have raised by your participation in this event will make a real difference to our development funds and we are eternally grateful.”
