A large number of couples in our parish who are celebrating 50, 40, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10 and 5 years of marriage gathered this past weekend at a special Mass to mark Saint Valentines Day and to renew the vows of their marriage made on different dates over the past 50 years at our parish Church. It was a great celebration of family with some couples travelling a distance for the special occasion. Most of the couples were joined by extended family.
Each of the couples were presented with a rose, a personal memento of the occasion and a card from The World Meeting of Families by The Parish Pastoral Planning Team who prepared and planned for the occasion. Every couple is wished health and blessings for the future.
