A warm word of congratulations to the class of 2017 from Muff, Carrickleck, Corlea and Saint Joseph’s Kingscourt who celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt, this past weekend with Bishop Michael. This is the 34th year of the Bishop’s Confirmations. He congratulated the young people and commended them to use all the gifts of the Holy Spirit throughout their lives especially in the many decisions and choices they will be faced with going into the future. He commended the excellent work of our teachers in all our schools. Thanks to Gavin and our wonderful folk choir and accompanists in the provision of music, to P.J. and the sacristy team, our altar servers and who prepared and cleaned the Church in preparation for this past weekend.
