Hundreds of parishioners were joined by visitors from other parts of Ireland and abroad for our annual Easter Sunday Dawn Mass at the Mass Rock on Lough an Lae. After all the rain of the night before we were blessed with the weather. Old and young joined together in prayer as Fr Mark began the Mass in total darkness and through the changing colours of the sky to a beautiful dawn and heavenly birdsong.
Many thanks to the wonderful parishioners who made everyone so welcome, providing a delicious breakfast, organising the chairs and lighting and of course to the wonderful choir and altar servers. Thanks also to the sponsors of the food, your generosity is much appreciated.
