Kingscourt parish was delighted to welcome Robert McGivney, a deacon of the Diocese of Meath, who was ordained to the Diaconate on Pentecost Sunday and who soon begins his final year of studies at Saint Patrick’s College Maynooth, before his ordination to the Priesthood. This year, 13 young people have begun studies for the Priesthood. Robert has a number of family members in Kingscourt including his aunt Dolores Clarke. He is the Grandson of Joe McGivney, well known to people in Kingscourt from his working days in Gypsum and his long involvement with Kingscourt Credit Union. Please remember Robert in your prayers over the coming months.
