Mr. John Forkan retires after 40 years of service in the parish of Kingscourt, nearly 38 years as Principal of Corlea. He was joined by the current pupils, staff, past pupils, family members and friends and the local community at a special Mass on Sunday to mark his retirement. He is thanked for his unique contribution to the life of the pupils and their families over the years. He is wished every health and happiness in his retirement.
He will be remembered in the hearts and homes of the Corlea community with great fondness.
