Pope Francis remarked this week on the importance of Grandparents for family life, for passing on human and religious knowledge which is so essential for each and every society. He mentioned how Saint Joachim and Anne were part of a long chain of people who had transmitted their love for God, expressed in the warmth and love of family life. On Sunday last in our parish we acknowledged the great role of Grandparents.
