For a short while on Good Friday the traffic slowed down on Main Street whilst members of the Presbyterian Church, Church of Ireland and Catholic Church carried out the Walk of Witness. The solemn procession began at 3pm with prayers at St Ernan’s Church, volunteers carried the cross and stopped at different places through the town for prayers and singing, finishing at the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Thank you to all who took part.
