Fr. Stephen Kelly, CC, gave the opening talk on the Year of Faith entitled our Catholic Faith during the past week. Among the other plans to mark the Year of Faith include;
December 8th: Youth Retreat with Elation Music Ministry from 1p.m. January 23rd: Annual service of Prayer for Christian Unity with guest speaker, Dr. Anthony Draper, All Hallows College.
February 10th:World Day of the Sick February 11th: Launch of ten week parish ALPHA course in faith.
February 13th Ash Wednesday. Lenten Novena commences to mark Year of Faith with well known guest preachers to be announced in the new year.
31st March: Easter Sunday Dawn Mass on Lough an Lae at Mass Rock. 5th May: Confirmation Day.
19th May: Pentecost Sunday Student Exam Mass. 2nd June: Corpus Christi.
4th August. The Gathering for our Annual cemetery Mass
2nd September: Parish Pilgrimage to San Giovanni Rotondo. Bookings with MAP Travel, Dublin 1.
14th October: 9 Day Pilgrimage in the footsteps of the Lord in the Holy Land.
