The annual parish pilgrimage this year took place over recent days to Rome and Assisi. The pilgrimage was arranged in association with MAP Travel, Dublin. During their time they visited Saint Peters for Mass, the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, made a walking and bus tour of all the tourist, historical and religious sites, visited Castelgondolfo and Palazolla. They also met with Fr. Fernando who worked in the parish during the summer and Kingscourt native Fr. Joesph O’Reilly. From there the pilgrims travelled to Assisi, visiting all the holy sites associated with the lives of Saint Francis and Saint Clare. They also visited Florence and Siena during their stay in Tuscany. It is hoped that another pilgrimage will be arranged next autumn to mark the 140th anniversary of the Church. Further details later.Gallery is empty!
